RM of Coulee’s story
The Rural Municipality of Coulee No. 136 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910. It lies in the southwest part of Saskatchewan, southeast of the city of Swift Current, and its municipal office is in Swift Current.
Several communities are found within the municipality. Chortitz is the one organized hamlet, and the localities of Braddock, Burnham, Hallonquist, McMahon, Neidpath, Rheinfeld, Rosenhof, Rosenort and South Gnadenthal are also part of the RM.
Today the RM is run by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of every month.
